From Delhi Int’l Airport

1) By Airport Volvo/Mercedes Benz Bus

Not in particular, but there are plenty of shuttle bus services (takes about 10 mins a cycle) which can drop you to locations from where you can check in to different kind of buses. From IGI T-3 there’s a free shuttle service which will take you to PTC point (near Centaur Hotel), here Haryana’s Volvo services are present and one can take a direct bus to Chandigarh. From T-2 it’s about 1 minute or so walk to the T-3 terminal from where you can use the shuttle service.

If you’re arriving at the T-1 terminal, then take a shuttle bus (with a minimal bus fee) to the T-3 and then go for the same route mentioned above.

However, from the airport itself, you can opt for Redbus / Goibibo / Makemytrip or you can rent a cab which will take you directly to Chandigarh.

It should take a shuttle bus directly to PTC light point (near Centaur Hotel) and opt for a prebooked Volvo (costing around 700 odd bucks).

There are several state governments and private bus services from Delhi airport to Chandigarh.

The ‘Volvo’ bus service is a government service that is very comfortable. It’s run by various state governments (Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and, Punjab). Each seat costs about INR 700. The buses are air-conditioned, clean and comfy. Some even have entertainment systems.

A complimentary bottle of water is served within the bus and there are a couple of stops on the way for the passengers to enjoy food and snacks.

2) By Cab/Taxi

You can also hire a cab. The ‘one-way cab’ service to Chandigarh. There are several private operators that run this service. You can Google and find the contact details. A hatchback or a sedan would cost you about INR 3,000. The cost of SUVs/MUVs (with more passenger and luggage space is a little more.
